Neoss Step by Step Drill System
The new Neoss drill system has been introduced after extensive customer consultation.
Site preparation remains the key step to successful implant placement. Well designed instruments and drills aid the surgeon in achieving high primary stability and excellent seating in all bone qualities and quantities. We consulted with many customers and trialled numerous prototype products to develop the new Neoss drill markings and solution.
Neoss Drill System Features:
• Single Use Products
Neoss drills are for single use and delivered in a sterile condition for immediate use. If the sterile barrier is broken the drills can be re-sterilized. Please refer to the Cleaning and Sterilization section in the manual for
re-sterilization and cleaning if required.
• Full compatibility with current products
The new Neoss drill system is fully compatible with the existing products including Neoss Drill Stops. Transition will be seamless and straightforward.
• Simple sequential system – easy to use, rapid, excellent for all users
The Neoss drill system is simple and sequential making placement very straightforward for all users.
• Optimal design
We have introduced new instruments to optimize osteotomy preparation.
There is a Lance drill for precise osteotomy positioning in all cases and a Pilot drill (∅2.2/3.0mm) for progressive drilling with no chatter and complete control.
• Drill Markings
The visibility of drill markings has been greatly enhanced by increasing marking contrast and making clear divisions for all implant depths.
